In the traditional Chairman’s address, Tony Sage opened the proceedings covering many issues including the news of a new investor likely to inject the club with a sum of $30m.
Also mentioned was the issues surrounding the season including the difficult times endured by promising, prize recruit Daniel Sturridge which evidentially lead to little output by the former Liverpool and Chelsea man.
Matters regarding a future coaching appointment were also addressed, and despite Sage mentioning he’s preference for Ruben Zadkovich to take on the role full time, Glory fans may have to wait a little longer for news of a permanent appointment.
Fans may also have to wait to see what the future ownership structure of the Perth Glory looks like, with Sage also revealing the Keogh family have bought a small share in the club, although rumours and speculation of a potential majority take over were the talk of the evening are still to be put entirely to bed.
